On the flip side of the alder box is the playing surface pittin the lions versas Pittsburgh. Each squere has either a lions head or a panther painted in it. The playing surface is made of steel. The pieces are made of polished solid pewter,one side is painted gold and the other side polished silver. The option to the pewter pieces are wood.
